A questionnaire was sent to 153 patients who underwent the procedure over a period of 5 years. Responses were received from 118 (78%) patients, which revealed a satisfaction rate of 77% among those who responded. The “worth it” rating index showed that the highest satisfaction was with an image change for moms (97%), a tummy tuck (85%), a vision correction (83%) and a breast augmentation (77%). The new study is the first quantitative analysis of factors affecting patient satisfaction after cosmetic surgery.
